Where are the houses on the island ?

Head for the south of Belle Ile  ! You will find the most beautiful beaches , wooded and flowery landscapes and many valleys without forgetting the emblematic church of Notre Dame de Locmaria.

Locmaria is 7.5 km from Palais and 16 km from the port of Sauzon.

Between the sea and the countryside, our rentals form a peaceful hamlet in the village of Kerdavid, in the south of the island. The houses are surrounded by a large wooded park for the enjoyment of children and parents.

Kerdavid is a village where life is good , with activity throughout the year thanks to the presence of many Bellilois and the dairy farm (located 100 meters from the houses) where you can get milk, butter and eggs.
The houses are located 1.5 km from a large white sandy beach "Les Grands Sables": sailing, diving or longe-côte, the choice is yours! The beach can be reached  through a pleasant small valley,  in 15-20 mn by foot, or in 2 minutes by car . The village of Locmaria and its local shops (SPAR, bakery, bar-tobacco-press, market...) is 2.5 km away.
Given the location of the houses, we strongly recommend that you have a car, especially with young children.
The houses are a starting point for many hiking and biking trails to discover Belle Ile.
For cycling, you need to be vigilant as many roads are shared with cars and you need to be well trained. It will be possible to rent bicycles (electric strongly advised) with Yohann "Locmaria cycle" who offers delivery of the bikes directly to the rental.
As for hiking, we offer a transfer service to take you to different places on the island (by reservation and only out of season and for a maximum of 4 people).
The island is much bigger than it seems, so we recommend a minimum stay of 5 nights (out of season) and 15 days (in July and August) in order to savour the charms of its different landscapes and to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere so particular to the "islands".

Christian and Martine manage a herd of dairy cows whose milk benefits from the iodized air of the island!
The farm is located not far from the houses.
Possibility for our tenants to buy the products directly from the farm between 6pm and 7pm.
Butter 3,50 €, Fresh cream 1,70 €, raw milk 1 € and eggs 1,60 and eggs 1,60 € for 6. Chicken to order  

The large white sandy beach, Les Grands Sables, is a 15 minute walk down a pleasant valley or a 2 minute drive.

And also Samzun, La Biche, Port-Andro, Port-Blanc, Bordardoué to discover according to its exposure and the direction of the winds!
